A boat tour around Manhattan, August 1996. The summer after ordination I was privileged to travel to Bayonne, New Jersey with seminarian (now Fr.) Jozef Kovacik to visit with his relations there. Fr. Kovacik is native of Slovakia who came to the US to study (and eventually be ordained) for the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

In the seminary room of the future Fr. William Lechnar (seated) with my classmate the future Fr. Michael Sikon. We were all ordained for the Diocese of Greensburg. Fr. Lechnar is now the diocesan Consultant for Planning and Fr. Sikon is the Diocesan Director of Worship.

The opening ceremonies for the annual Catholic Schools Marathon for Mt. St. Peter School in May, 1997. I created a ‘Chariot’ out of an elaborate old chair that was sitting around the rectory and we opened with a very ‘Roman’ ceremony.

... the icons on the wall are part of a set of 13 gorgeous Russian icons produced by the Russian Orthodox Church's Icon factory outside of Moscow that I purchased at Antiochiam Village, Ligonier, Pennsylvania, during the Fall 2004 Clergy Convocation there.
